Innovation

We specialize in overmolding and bonding rubber to other substates, such as metal, plastic, or even other types of rubber. Our proprietary metal pretreatments along with stringent process control with adhesive application allow us to consistently achieve desired film thickness of the bonding agent from one part geometry to the next.  This coupled with state of the art injection molding machines, allows for precise monitoring of heat and pressure throughout the cycle, and giving a final product with unmatched consistency in physical cured state of the elastomer and adhesion to the substrate.

Capability

We have state-of-the-art injection presses with maximum clamp pressure of 630 tons, a platen size of 32” x 43”, and compression presses ranging from 12" X 12" up to 42" X 42" with a maximum of 885 tons clamp pressure. Some of the presses are located under an overhead crane, so that we can mold parts up to 1,000 lbs. 24/7 run capabilities at 2 separate facilities in Minnesota.

 

Efficiency

Our scrap rates are kept to a minimum with constant attention to detail, and ongoing operating training. We finish as many parts at the press as possible, to eliminate secondary trimming and finishing operations, to help reduce costs. But, we also use crygenic deflashing and secondary trimming. Our specialty is finding the most economical way to produce your parts.
